The Waikato / Bay of Plenty Cancer Society are embarking on a wonderful initiative called "Memory Meadow."
You can donate a daffodil bulb in memory of your loved one or in honour of someone who has been through or is going through a cancer journey.
The meadow will be planted in April, in time to flower for Daffodil Day.
You can join the Cancer Society Team on planting day in Te Awamutu on Sunday 14 April at Sculpture Park (Domain Road, Te Awamutu) and participate in planting your own bulb. You can also nominate who this bulb is in honour of, and it will be displayed at Memory Meadow.
Every bulb donated in Memory Meadow will help the Cancer Society provide supportive care services for people affected by cancer, such as free nursing support, transport to treatment, counselling and accommodation.
